All harvests are complex: mother nature never makes my job easy. Nonetheless, 2019 was a key harvest.

After much effort and dedication, all the work that we put in was reflected in the vintage. Our understanding of each of the blocks that make up the Alazan— plus the work realized across many years— has produced a wine that stands out compared to those that came before it.

The aromatic expression of the Alazan is multi-layered. An abundance of red fruit, spices and earthy notes interact with each other to reflect the year and the harvest better than ever.

On the palate, as always, the Alazan contains great volume and texture. Its structure and freshness guarantee an extraordinary life in the bottle.
